Autumn is on the way! I truly enjoy all the season has to offer, the colors of the leaves , apples and pumpkins and that crisp fall like feel in the air! One of my favorite things to do in the fall is to have friends over for big bonfires and lots of yummy seasonal goodies. I wanted the mood to be simple with a little farmhouse style , I love these rustic lanterns I found at At Home . I used some rope and tied them above the table from tree limbs. (My little kitty friend Bubba was even there to help me out ) I accented the table with copper candle holders to add that autumn vibe. I mixed in a few of my favorite ceramic pieces and added some linen napkins in big bowls to make it a little more casual. Of course there had to be apple pie! What would fall be without it, right? I found these wood chargers I used to display the pie and to add that outdoor feel to the table. Big striped fluffy cushions and wicker chairs added that cozy vibe .

Easy One Pot No Knead Bread

Is there anything better than fresh baked bread? This recipe is so simple and easy and only requires four ingredients. I found this recipe when I was looking for homemade bread for breakfast, it’s simplicity made it the perfect choice. The golden brown crust added the best rustic texture and it tastes as good as it looks!

Perfect slathered with butter and jam!

- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp active dry yeast
- 1 1/2 cups water room temperature
-
In a big bowl mix the flour, salt and yeast together. Pour water into the bowl and using a spatula or a wooden spoon mix it until well incorporated.
-
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it sit on your counter for 12 to 18 hours.
-
Preheat oven to 450 F degrees. Add your cast iron pot to the oven as it’s heating and heat it as well until it’s at 450 F degrees.
-
Remove the pot from the oven and remove the lid from it. If you want to make sure your bread doesn’t stick to the pot you can sprinkle some flour or cornmeal on the bottom of the pot.
-
Flour your hands really well and also sprinkle a bit of flour over the dough. With your floured hands gently remove the dough from the bowl and roughly shape it into a ball. Take the ball of dough and drop it into the pot. Cover the pot with the lid and place it back in the oven.
-
Bake for 30 minutes with the lid on, after which remove the lid and bake for another 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
-
Remove the bread from the pot, it should fall out easily. Let cool completely before slicing into it and serving.
